To my readers:
While at a conference a couple weeks ago, I was talking to someone about Lex Loves Couture. When I told her I had been blogging for three years, she says "Oh, so you're a veteran blogger!" I laughed because I definitely do not feel that way. Not because I still feel new at this, but because each year has been a learning process. I never want the learning to end because then Lex Loves Couture will not continue to grow.
This past year has brought me a lot of great opportunities and I have met so many amazing new people. Above all else, I have pushed out a lot of amazing fashion and beauty content for you guys. While I would consider myself to be somewhat of a "success" in the blogging world, I think there are so many things that need to be achieved.
My goals with this blog has less to do with notoriety and more to do with helping a lot of people. I want to bring fashion and beauty to the masses. I do not want it to be this editorial thing that you think you cannot attain. Anyone can be stylish and anyone can do that on a budget. With each post I strive to keep things relatable. Fashion and beauty may not save the world, but I know it is an important part of my readers lives.
That being said, I launched my Ask Lex segment so that I can really help you all with your needs. I touch on broad trends, but I want to be able to help my readers answer their specific fashion and beauty questions. So if you have anything you need help with ask me! It doesn't matter if it is as little as a question as "What shoes should I wear with my black dress?" I want to help and give you a new perspective you would not have had on your own.
This coming year is the year of my readers! While I will be posting regular content, helping you all will be my top priority. Why? You are the reason I made it to three years. I have always been a quitter- I can admit that- but the constant support I feel really keeps me going. Thank you readers for sticking by my side! Without you, there would be no Lex Loves Couture.
I cannot believe it has been three years and I am so grateful. Here is to many more years and hopefully great success. With you all by side I know I can do it! Love you all ♥
