Lettuce Have Fun

By _jessismore @_jessismore

On Friday night, a few Minnesota Bloggers attended a cooking class hosted by Andrea's mother. She hosts these a few times per month in her gorgeous kitchen, using all sorts of Pampered Chef goodies. Our theme was "Lettuce Have Fun" - so we made a variety of different salads. It was the perfect, casual, evening! Coincidentally, it was also Channing Tatum's birthday... so he got worked into the theme, too.

Andrea and I were in charge of dessert: chocolate mousse and cinnamon/sugar tortilla crisps.  We managed to mess up the first batch due to accidentally using garlic oil instead of regular grapeseed oil...whoops!

Andrea went all-out and made us each a "mini chanfan" (since they were so popular at our last meet-up). Each one had a photo of him on the front, and on the back a letter that spelled out "Happy B Day"
Lindsey loves her some Usher.  So Andrea made another fan especially for her.

Since we all recap the event (and there's only so many ways to say "we cooked this, and it was amazeballs"),Andrea came up with such a great idea to make each one a little different.  On the back of a paint stir stick, she wrote a question.  Each one of us received a different question, and we were supposed to answer this question in our post!  She's so stinkin' clever.
Anyway, here is mine:

Favorite Restaurant?  This is a tough one.  I love food {clearly}, and Jeremiah and I like to try new places all the time so I don't have a  favorite. However, for the last 5-6 years or so, we have been going to the Oceanaire Seafood Room in downtown Minneapolis for our anniversaries. The food is delicious and it's kind of become our "special" place.

I absolutely love hanging out with these ladies.
It was a perfect night that combined some my most favorite-est things.
Thanks again, Andrea!
