Letting Berland Go

I am amazed that the courts would allow Eliezer Berland to travel to visit Uman for Rosh Hashana. If there is anyone that is the definition of a flight risk it is Eliezer Berland. They are making him put down a nice sum of money but he probably doesnt even care about that no matter the sum, considering he, like all cult leaders, takes money from his followers - it isnt his anyway.
I dont know why or how they approved it, considering who he is, what he has been in jail for, and what he is still under investigation for. And that is before we even consider that Israel is warning citizens to not go to Uman this year.
The only logic that makes sense to me is that they are letting him go and hoping for a Russian attack on the city while he is there so that he will no longer be our problem.
