Let Us Take You…

… to the north of Zealand, Denmark’s biggest island, a region Lars and I have long neglected.

Reersoe

Reersoe is the name of the small peninsula and its cozy port town, with its many art galleries. Unfortunately, it was raining hard, so I couldn’t take many pictures.

Kalundborg

Go north and you arrive in the town of Kalundborg, which is known for its church with five towers, the Church of Our Lady. And then there are the old, colorful houses…

Holbaek

Around noon, Lars and I finally saw some sun. We stopped in Holbaek, an industrial and commercial town, with a charming harbor. Time to stretch our legs!

Strandvejen

This is probably one of the most famous Danish roads. It is 40 kilometers and connects Helsingör with Copenhagen; along the road there are many small and big port towns, villas, museums, restaurants and pubs.
