Lesson 1092 – Quotable Chicks

By Wendythomas @wendyenthomas

Friday’s Quotes for the Chicks

“Resting on the roots of this old oak I lean back against his knotted trunk, shine my granny smith on my sleeve And ponder the days…” Kellie Elmore

We have had this tree in our yard for years. It’s always been there to greet the kids as they’ve gotten off of school buses, when they’ve returned from adventures afar, and to watch over our flock as the birds graze around its base.  Our tree has been a confident and a true constant in all of our lives – always there patiently waiting for us all to come home.

Recently, I saw another tree like ours in someone’s yard.

It’s nice to know that our household is not the only one in town that includes a little bit of magic in the yard.

Be safe, go out in the sun, and I’ll see you all next week.
