Today marks the beginning of the Mobile World Congress 2014 and we have already witnessed quite a few interesting announcements, such as Nokia confirming three Android-based smartphones, Sony launching two handsets and a tablet etc. At the sidelines of the MWC, Lenovo unveiled three new smartphones in the S-series called the Lenovo S660 (around 160 euros), the S850 (around 195 euros) and the S860 (around 250 euros). All three smartphones will be available starting June 2014 and all three will run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and have dual-SIM options.
The Lenovo S660 comes with a 4.7in IPS display (960 x 540 resolution), a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM and an 8-megapixel camera. It also has 8GB of internal storage (expandable via a microSD slot (up to 32GB).
The S660 also has a 0.3-megapixel front camera.
The Lenovo S850 features a 5in HD display, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor backed by 1GB of RAM. The best part? It has a 13-megapixel rear camer and a 5-megapixel front shooter. This handset will be available in pink and white.
The S850 has an all-glass exterior.
Finally, the Lenovo S860 boasts a 5.3in HD screen, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM. It comes with 16GB of built-in storage (no microSD slot) and a 4000mAh battery. On its back is a 8-megapixel camera and on its front dual speakers.
All handsets include 3G support.
