Lemon Rice

- 11/2 cup Rice boiled
- 3 tablespoons Lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon oil
- 1/2 teaspoons Mustard seeds
- Pinch of Asafoetida
- ¼ teaspoon Fenugreek seeds (methi dana)
- 1/2 teaspoon Split black gram (dhuli urad dal)
- ½ teaspoon split bangal gram (chana Dal)
- 1 spring of Curry leaves
- 2-3 Whole dry red chillies broken
- ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
- 1-2 tablespoon Peanuts
- Salt to taste
Method
- Heat the oil in a wok. Add mustard seeds, hing, methi, urad dal and sauté till the dal turns
- Add curry leaves broken red chillies, turmeric powder and peanuts and continue to sauté.
- Add rice and salt and mix.
- Add lemon juice and mix well.
- Cook on low heat till the rice gets heated through and serve hot.
