Lego Review: Batman: The Riddler Chase 76012

Being that of the geek kind, I do quiet enjoy my gizmo’s and toys. Being the type of people we are (us geeks) when something catches our eye we tend to seek more knowledge, starting our obsessions.  I have quiet a few of those already, and lets be honest it is easy to pick them up.  Over the last few years I have bought Lego’s for my nephew as well as my brother in-law for major events such as birthdays and Christmas, and just for fun, when my nephew would do well at school or at home pretty much as an award thing. And now I find myself doing well basically the same for me.  Well basically I get myself a new set each week just for being good Gill LOL don’t judge me.

I am not one of those people that have been obsessed with Lego’s since childhood or young adulthood, my obsession came later in life just from curiosity.  So besides being a single 29 year old female, whoivan, book nerd, old school gaming geek.  I now add my Lego’s to my T.V stand along with my Doctor Who books and my games.

Lets face it Lego has sets for anything nerdy you can be in to, and its amazing.  While I love all Lego’s, I mainly focus on my DC comics Super Heroes, Marvel and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle sets. Yes I know, I am awesome.  But in all seriousness there’s no point of being grown up if you cant be childish sometimes. Yes I just did that lol did you catch it?

During my recent endeavor to a local store, I ran across an awesome DC Comics Super Heroes set, Batman: The Riddler Chase 76012. Which I love.  This set is amazing, its not one of those big outrageous sets but it still has a lot in it.  This set contains 3 mini-figures, Batman, The Riddler, and The Flash.  Yes Flash and lets be honest that was reason enough within itself to buy it.  You also have the Bat-mobile and The Riddler dragster.  Fun little fact the Bat-mobile and Batman designs are based on their appearances in Beware the Batman.  Actually the design of this Batman (the suit) has never been seen before it is new.  The Bat-mobile has a detachable cockpit along with hidden flick missiles. The Riddler’s dragster has the big engine, flames, large rear wheels, money bags and a detachable bomb.

This is a must have set no doubt for any Lego lover as well as any DC comic fan, and I am pretty sure the longer you wait to get this set the harder it will be to find, do some easy shopping on their website www.shop.lego.com and sign up and you can get some great deals but just a far warning, be prepared, its Lego heaven there.
