The twelve-acre Majorelle enchanting botanical garden at the heart of the red city is owned by Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé and is a very popular tourist hot spot. With this in mind I decided to visit Le Jardin Majorelle in the morning which was perfect as it was pretty hot by 10am. The shady paths amidst the numerous trees and exotic plants were so relaxing and provided a refreshing start to the day (I wish everyday could start of like this). Amongst the rustling of leaves, huge palms and cacti, the main art deco building is a striking bright blue, which contrasts perfectly with all the boldly coloured clay and porcelain pots lining the pathways. I would definitely recommend going here and make sure you have your camera ready to go…
