I hit Strides tonight to collect my race packet for Sunday's St Paddy's 5k! Pretty decent haul for a swag bag
- Long sleeve cotton shirt (shirt seems a bit on the small side this year, but they are gender specific)
- Foldable water bottle
- Small reusable bag (nice lunch bag size)
- Bib and shoe chip (yay for shoe chips!)
- The usual suspects in terms of flyers and coupons
Now, on to the laziness.
I skipped a workout today. Partly because I seriously needed to run some errands at lunch. Partly because I was feeling a bit tender from my chiro adjustment last night. and partly because I was just plain lazy. Though - I will admit that as I headed to the parkade, keys in hand, to drive my errands - I made the last minute decision to walk them.
And when I got back at the end of lunch - the Fitbit said it was at close to the same number of steps I'd been at after my run yesterday. I figured I had this in the bag.
But then the sofa beckoned. and my ass planted. at 7600 steps.
And I REALLY just wanted to go to bed.
But I didn't. I decided to hop on the treadmill and walk until 10,000.
So maybe I wasn't so lazy after all.
