I had been looking forward to this Boathouse wedding on the Norfolk Broads for some time. I'd had the pleasure of a wedding at the Boathouse before and it's a pretty unique and special place!
When I arrived to photograph the girls getting ready, it was a very wet and rainy summer's day. This soon gave way to the sunshine though, as Lauren and Olly, gazing out upon the stunning scenery of the Ormseby Broad, made their vows! It was a beautiful ceremony and the location allowed me to move around quite freely, without intruding on proceedings, just the way I like it!
Olly looked very calm and collected, awaiting the arrival of his beautiful bride and he and Lauren could not have looked happier, shooting each other furtive little glances throughout the ceremony.
After they had signed the register, drinks were served on the boardwalk and the sun shone brightly the rest of the day. The weather playing ball, saw the newlyweds enjoy their first dance outdoors, as the sun began to set. A wonderful end to a truly lovely day. Lauren and Olly, thank you for allowing me to play a small part in your celebrations - enjoy!
