Until a man and a woman begin to live together as husband and wife, the question of who does the laundry just doesn't arise. Its all strawberries and cream at that time.
All cootchie coo and sweetie do...
Sweet and tangy...
And the stains can go to hell...
Its only after the wedding vows have been read and reality seeps in that lipstick stains ,haldi smatterings and sweaty smelly socks are visible. Suddenly the house is supposed to dust free, all wardrobes organised , towels hanging on racks , TV remote batteries replaced and socks and smalls folded to coordinate with day wear clothes.
Bah!
Humbug doesn't work here...
Stereotypes stink!
Man invented the washing machine for exactly this purpose. So that a woman would have all the time and energy in the world to look pretty for him .
A womans job ,however, is never done. She gets married expecting to be treated like a princess... first sinking into his arms and then ending up with her arms in his sink...
Yuck!!
So instead of dumping dirty shirts and upturned socks and one leg in one leg out jeans in the laundry basket...men should be helping out their women. All they need to do is load the machine, add measured quantities of detergent and turn on the switch.
FYI-There is no stain a good detergent like Ariel will not remove. A good detergent will also keep colours separate - so the men will never need to sport pink or technicoloured vests...
That's not too difficult is it??
And here tradition dictates that the man be treated like a king.
Especially when both husband and wife work to run the house. Sharing of household chores is a perfect way to better strengthen the bonds .

Its stated in the marriage vows too..."With the vow to be together forever in all responsibilities, I take this sixth step with you."A wake up call to the men -Laundry is not just a woman's job.
Flex your muscles ,prove your love and set an example for your sons...
I am going to make sure some girl thanks me and likens me to a queen.
I taught sweet child to load the Washing machine many years ago.
No one in my house will say that laundry is a woman's job.
