Last Week Was Hellish and I Didn’t Really Share on Here About It, but My Company Did a 10%...

Last week was hellish and I didn’t really share on here about it, but my company did a 10% reduction. It was kept pretty quiet and totally not what you want to hear when you are 3 weeks away from closing on your first house. It was scary, but I’m pretty sure I still have a job.
As a result of the stress I didn’t eat as well and didn’t hit the pavement at all. Today is my first day back on the couch to 5K wagon.
Harry was sick, and he’s not the lethargic type. Do your kids get naughtier when they are sick? He was kinda a lil shit.
Behavior problems that are stumping me:

Throwing food on the floor at every meal and laughing at me when I tell him not to, or having a friggin fit when I take the food away (which I don’t want to do since he’s not been eating much).
Hitting. Hitting and laughing. The laughing is super pissing me off. Is this stuff just a phase or am I raising a brat?
