Last Week in Photos

Last week was crazy, thanks to the flu season arriving earlier than usual. It does look like I was one of the first few victims. You might want to be careful with all the weird changes going on with the weather and stay as bundled up as you can. However, if you do fall sick don't forget the old classic - Chicken soup (in my case, I love myself a bowl of hearty vegetarian soup). Click on the image to find out about 12 healthy soup recipes that work magic when you have cold and cough.

Coming back to what I have been up to last week - Here are a few outfits and life snippets that I loved and wanted to share with you. Follow me on instagram (Instagram handle: @savoirstyle) to get updated every day. I love sweatshirts for fall and they are great for layering that is essential for fall. This particular sweatshirt is from H&M and I have really been crushing on all things burgundy which is why this caught my eye in the first place. H&M still has a basic version available which you can buy here. I paired it up with skinny jeans and studded ankle strap pumps from Target.

I bought this one shoulder top from Zara around 2 years back and a few days while going through my closet, I realized Green and Gold look so good together. Needless to say, This is a great party look and the top can be paired with jeans, a pant or a skirt depending on the occasion. This is also a great holiday look and since the holiday season is upon us, I see myself depending on the look for more than a few occasions.

I took this picture when I dressed up in a jiffy and later realized this was a good outfit. I like outfits for their comfort and the ease with which you can put them together. I have paired a black tunic with a cream quilted jacket, a pair of straight leg jeans and glitter flats. I prefer outfits like these while running errands.

Autumn scents and Fall colors - We are being swamped with these in the last few months. I am not complaining since I have already seen Christmas decor hitting the stores. I can take a few more days of green, orange, golden hues. Also on a side note, Burlington coat factory has great options for fall scents and body care. So does Marshalls. Sometimes it is good to take a break from Bath and Body works which is when I like to check this stores for different options.

I hope you start Monday on a good note!
