Verdict on Last Straw

Last Straw is an action thriller following a young diner manager dealing with a group of masked people. She must fight to survive as they show no remorse for their action. However, the truth behind their actions is even more shocking.

You know what is always nice to watch? A short and sweet thriller. This movie delivers that with ease, a simple concept, following one person fighting for their life. It has twists and turns, without being heavy-handed and isn’t holding back on anything. Jessica Belkin is great in the leading role and the supporting cast brings their characters to life. The movie manages to bring a nice reflection of the troubles of everyday life into the mix, as we see the struggles everyone is going through.
