Story: Last Straw starts when a young diner manager, Nancy (Belkin), gets tired of her job in the family diner. She deals with troublemakers and slackers who have followed in their family’s legacy working there.
However, one night, Nancy comes under attack by a masked group. She must fight for her life as she learns what the psychos are after. It leads to a battle, unlike anything she was imagining facing.

Last Straw is an action thriller following a young diner manager dealing with a group of masked people. She must fight to survive as they show no remorse for their action. However, the truth behind their actions is even more shocking.
You know what is always nice to watch? A short and sweet thriller. This movie delivers that with ease, a simple concept, following one person fighting for their life. It has twists and turns, without being heavy-handed and isn’t holding back on anything. Jessica Belkin is great in the leading role and the supporting cast brings their characters to life. The movie manages to bring a nice reflection of the troubles of everyday life into the mix, as we see the struggles everyone is going through.
