Five years into blogging at DB and I think we can all attest to my love for a good slouchy jumper, a scarf and a darn good coat. But last week, that heatwave in England paired with a pre-date night panic led me to picking up a few new bits including this camisole.
(Just don’t ask me to tot up how much $ I drop on these glorified vest tops…)
Anyway, I digress. This new camisole has pretty cool cut-outs and a nice V-back, and did a good job of helping me to “keep my cool” for a first date the other weekend. I am so lesser practiced on first date etiquette. Like, do I pretend that I’m pretending to be terrible at pool? Do I beat him at air hockey or not…? Should I really recount anecdotes from The Clumsiest Day of a Clumsy Girl: An Autobiography by Michelle? The outfit didn’t do too badly though; (I teamed my new cami with leather-look leggings and some cut-out boots) it even nabbed me a round two.

Currently really into shoe shopping at the moment, despite my previous “Summer shopping stresses me out” statement. I think I’ve bought a new pair every week this month. These were a pretty lucky find in the new H&M that’s opened up at home. Actually I did bad things to my bank balance that day… I really like the “simple band across the foot” look but also like the whole two-part look.
What’s your current shopping guilty pleasure?
PS. Here’s your obligatory I heart 3-day weekends remark from me. You’re welcome.
