Lace Me Up

One of the biggest fashion trends for spring this year is the lace up dress. I have to admit, I wasn't crazy about this one because it can go horribly wrong, like a Real Housewives of Beverly Hills dinner party. Revivals of classic 70s trends can often go bad. I mean, just look at Gucci's denim sneaker dress! How could you possibly take that seriously?
But then I met Reformation's lace-up Sandy Dress and everything clicked. I know I've written about my love of Reformation and its sister line Obvious fairly recently but seriously how could I not obsess over this dress? I love it!

I love that the hemline is long enough to balance out the low cut, lace up neck.  I feel like paired with one of my favorite Madewell Jean jackets it would be the cutest date night outfit ever. Plus, chocolate browns look weirdly gorgeous against my pale skin tone. And at just $118, this is one trendy dress I can actually afford!
Will you be daring the lace-up trend this spring or should I leave this one to the professional models?
