KPK Assembly Dissolved

Governor Khyber Pukhtunkhwa Engineer Shaukatullah has dissolved provincial assembly on advice of Chief Minister Amir Hyder Khan Hoti. Chief Minister sent advice to Governor on Monday seeking dissolution of assembly after completing its constitutional tenure.

Khyber Pukhtunkhwa is the first province to announce the name of caretaker Chief Minister. Justice (retired) Tariq Pervez was nominated as interim chief minister by Ameer Hyder Hoti and Akram Khan Durrani in a joint press conference on March 15, 2013.

Justice (retd) Tariq Pervez is expected to take oath on Wednesday.
