Christian/Gospel artist, Koryn Hawthorne is sitting on top of two of Billboard Gospel charts.

Hawthorne’s hit single ‘Wont’ He Do It’ is #1 on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay charts, and is #1 in Gospel digital song sales.

“I’m super-grateful for the support from radio and from the fans who phone in their requests,” Hawthorne tells Billboard. “I am honored beyond words. This is truly a dream come true. God is better than good.”

Hawthorne’s Gospel Airplay coronation marks the first for a female soloist’s first charted single since Casey J’s “Fill Me Up,” which reigned for 14 weeks beginning on Feb. 14, 2015.

On Hot Gospel Songs, “Won’t He Do It” is Hawthorne’s second No. 1. She first ruled in 2015 with her version of the classic hymn “How Great Thou Art,” which arrived at the summit.
