Former cricketer Gautam Gambhir has given an advice to Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Gautam Gambhir says that Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma should do the work for Indian cricket that MS Dhoni has been doing till now.

Gautam Gambhir believes that Dhoni has been doing the job of polishing new players and now it should be taken up by Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. Gautam Gambhir said that young players like Shubman Gill and Sanju Samson need the support of their seniors. After Dhoni, now Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will have to do it.

According to Gautam Gambhir, there is no shortage of talented cricketers in India. Young talents are coming to the fore. If he gets the right opportunity at the right time, he can also become a great cricketer.

Former Indian opener Gautam Gambhir believes that Rohit Sharma’s success in limited overs cricket should be credited to former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni. When Rohit made his debut in 2007, he was weak in the middle order at the time and lacked consistency in his performance. Dhoni then started sending Rohit as an opener in 2013.

Gambhir said that the reason for where Rohit Sharma is today is Dhoni. You can talk about the selection committee and the team management, but if you do not get support from your captain then it is all useless. Everything is in the hands of the captain.

He said that the way Dhoni supported Rohit, I do not think any player would have been given such support. Earlier, Gambhir called Rohit the world’s best batsman in limited overs cricket. He described Rohit as a better batsman than Kohli.
