Using needles as large as tent pegs and high visibility roping, the outcome is a fearlessly creative masterpiece that is a vibrant mélange of color and raw textures, crafting an inimitable expression of individuality.
Founded by designer Megan Todd, the label carefully captures its creator’s free spirit and relaxed attitude with bold, edgy, handmade collections that are sure to stand out from the crowd.
After receiving a scholarship on hand knitting techniques, Megan completed a Masters in Fashion Design at the internationally renowned Polimoda in Florence, Italy before moving to the United Kingdom to work for esteemed labels Antipodium and James Long.
Upon returning home, Megan had a desire to revamp and grow the knitwear industry in Australia, producing distinctive, high quality knits specifically designed for warmer climates and inspired by the unique lifestyle and culture that is synonymous with her native country.
With designs combining natural roping, brass, nickel and raw fibres including cotton muslin and hemp, in a palette of neutrals and pop brights, the label’s distinctive aesthetic has gained much attention within the fashion industry, and now counts tom gunn and Molten Store among stockists.
