KLM Is Renting Out a Spacious Airplane Apartment on Airbnb
0KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, has placed a very unique accommodation listing on Airbnb, simply called ‘ Spacious Airplane Apartment ’. This latest marketing stunt by KLM gives you a chance to spend a night in a beautiful loft which is in reality a fully refurbished airplane. (Oh and it’s for free)
KLM has turned one of its retired MD-11 planes into a light-filled apartment, complete with a large living room, a master bedroom, two kids’ beds, and—get a load of this—no fewer than 116 windows. Oh, there are also eight small but functional bathrooms in case you want to have a whole lot of guests over. Wi-Fi is included, and you won’t have to turn on the airplane mode, either.
However, like all Airbnb listings, this spacious Airplane Apartment has some house rules: • No flying. • Don’t use the inflatable emergency slide. • Smoking is not allowed when the non-smoking sign is on. • No marshmallow roasting with the jet engines. • Please water our plants and feed our fish. • The consumption of alcohol is not allowed. • Please treat our plane like you treat your own plane.
