Kitchensurfing

I was recently invited to try out the NY-based dinner service: Kitchensurfing (c/o.) Armed with talented private chefs, Kitchensurfing brings back the ritual of weeknight dinners to busy New Yorkers hooked on take out, tired of restaurants, and too busy to cook healthy meals for themselves.

So, how does it work? First, you sign up for a series of weeknight meals. Pick which weeknight works best for your, pick a gourmet meal of your choice (there are up to 7 options) and let the magic happen! 30 minutes prior to your desired meal time, you Kitchensurfing personal chef arrives at your home with all the pots and pans and accouterments they need to deliver a perfect, home-cooked dinner. They bring everything- even the salt and pepper.

They take about 30 minutes to prepare supper AND they clean up! How awesome is that? All you have to do is to set the table, sit down, and eat.

We went with a Korean style skirt steak, which was out of this world! Chef Lauren showed up on time with a smile on her face and ready to cook. She was professional, friendly, and wildly talented. She served up a delicious, hot meal that I wouldn't have ever made for myself. It was such a pleasure to have someone take care of dinner after a long days work.

Kitchensurfing provides expires at midnight on 2/14/16.) For more information, visit. www.Kitchensufing.com. Follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
