Tofte mines her Norwegian heritage for inspiration—almond fyrstekakke, anyone?—but also celebrates America's bread tradition with rare and heirloom wheats from small farmers and millers across the country.
Co-owner Solveig Tofte was the head baker at Turtle Bread Company for 10 years so it should come as no surprise that her made-from-scratch artisan breads and pastries are delectably delicious. Come and find out for yourself, with breakfast and lunch available daily from 6:30 am to 2:00 pm, and dinner Thurs-Sat 5 pm -9 pm.
