Killer Heat (Amazon) Joseph Gordon Levitt Is Looped Into This Murder Mystery
Once again, I’d love it if you checked out my review of Killer Heat, and let me know your thoughts in the comments of the video, or on here. Likes and subscribes are awesome too.
Killer Heat is kind of a waste of Joseph Gordon Levitt, who already has a pretty solid release this year with the entertaining Beverly Hills cop: Axel F, and has previously nailed the noir detective angle in Brick, and even Looper has a bit of that element. But, here he plays a PI who gets roped into what everyone assumes was a suicide, but one person believes in foul play, and has covertly hired him to come in and investigate. Shailene Woodley also pops up, and is equally wasted.
Sadly, this is the kind of streaming release that has nothing to it. Nothing to remember, nothing to capture your attention, and it is something to just have on. If you are desperate for something new, or love the actors, you are likely to choose this new Amazon title. I suppose Amazon wanted to release more mediocre movies of the week like Netflix, starring people we generally enjoy, but would rather see in much stronger movies.
there isn’t much special about the audio description, as this is pretty straightforward. The biggest thing might be some jumping around in time, but this film does take place primarily in Greece, and perhaps it could have embraced being a destination film and allowed us to also enjoy the beauty around this murder mystery. You could certainly do worse, but I do want better for you as well.
Comment, and thanks for checking out the video.
