The cover is silly, colorful and simply fun! Inside there is a nice little surprise in the form of a CD with Lisa Loeb singing all the silly songs. The book includes the words to the songs, the hand motions, chewing gum games and sipping straw creations.
I must confess - I purchased one of the books as a gift and the other for my grandson...when I got back into my vehicle, I simply had to hear the CD, and, well, suffice it to say, I know all the words to the songs - can sing them backwards and forwards and upside down.
From singing Fried Ham in a Texas drawl, an Opera voice and Under Water to I'm a Little Coconut and Opposite Day, I found Lisa Loeb to be as addicting now as she was when I first heard Stay on Reality Bites. The tunes are catchy, the words are hilarious and Loeb's quirky, love-of-life voice is always a charmer. Love, love, love Lisa Loeb's Silly Sing-Along!
I'm a Little Coconut...the hand motions
I hope the wee one I bought the book for loves it as much as I do, sings the songs, laughs and has fun with all the silly games included. Personally, I enjoyed the CD and book too much - I'm thinking I may need to go back and buy another one just for me!Fried Ham...the song is sung in several different "voices"
