Kid Konnection: Little Dinos Don’t Bite

By Anovelsource @thenovellife

Do you have a little one who loves to watch the PBS Show, Dinosaur Train? My 2-year old grandson dances and sings every time the theme song plays….and if you ask him what a dinosaur says then he can do a perfect imitation of a baby t-rex!  So when I came across Little Dinos Don’t Bite, I knew it was one that the Little Guy could get into.

20 pages | Publisher: Picture Window Books | Published: January, 2013

A 20-page board book with lively, colorful illustrations, Little Dinos Don’t Bite was a hit with the Little Guy.  While reading the story, Little Guy would do the sound effects, bare his teeth and roar like a dinosaur.  For all 20 pages he was attentive and happy to play along.  The moral, that dinosaurs with sharp teeth don’t bite their toys, their friends, and especially their mama was humorous and winsome.  “Don’t bite your toys, Don’t bite your chair, Don’t bite your shoes, and most importantly, Don’t bite your mom ~ no matter how sweet she is!”  And while Little Guy was never bad about biting others, this adorable board book had us laughing and ensuring that biting would NOT be a problem.  The other three books in the series look just as cute and educational: Little Dinos Don’t Hit; Little Dinos Don’t Push; and my favorite ~ Little Dinos Don’t Yell!
