Kelly Ripa was joined by her husband Mark Consuelos, who served as a guest host on Live With Kelly and Ryan on Tuesday, where they discussed the apparent long-held speculation that Consuelos wore eyeliner.

The 50-year-old Riverdale star filled in for Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday, where he was asked in the makeup chair if he was wearing 'guy-liner.'

His 50-year-old wife revealed that he gets that a lot, and confirmed he doesn't wear eyeliner, but he just has naturally dark eyebrows.

'He looks at me, and he goes hey, did they put something on your eye? It's so dark. And I batted my eyelashes, and I said no, Michael, they didn't,' Consuelos said, referring to Live With Kelly and Ryan executive producer Michael Gelman.

Ripa added, 'His eyelashes are so thick at the bottom, and thank god all of the children inherited your eyelashes.

Ripa revealed that when they first met on the set of All My Children, on their first scene together, a makeup artist walked up in the middle of the scene, which was 'unprecedented.'

'The makeup artist walks in, looks at mark and goes "He's not wearing any!" And walks off set, and began the "Is mark consuelos wearing guy-liner?"' Ripa added.

'It is a common thing in his life where people think that he is wearing eyeliner,' Ripa added, as Gelman joked he wore eyeliner for Halloween and, 'it took me half of the day to wipe that off.

'Mark has been trying to wipe it off for years,' Ripa joked, though she added that she's glad her their daughter, 'got the eyelashes too.

'I would be very irritated if only the boys got it. You know, because it's a thing where men get the eyelashes,' Ripa said.

'Because it's a thing where men get the eyelashes and we get the eyelash salon down the street,' she joked.

The couple eloped in Las Vegas in May 1996, just over a year after they started working together on All My Children.

They share three adult children together, Michael, 24, Lola, 20 and Joaquin, 18.

Both Ripa and Consuelos are slated to reprise their All My Children characters, alongside Susan Lucci, in the new spin-off Pine Valley.

The married couple are also executive producing the show, which follows, 'A young journalist with a secret agenda comes to expose the dark and murderous history of a town named Pine Valley only to become entangled in a feud between the Kane and Santos families.'
