Brett Kavanaugh, Trump's Supreme Court nominee, is not supported by the public. In fact, he has the lowest support of any Supreme Court nominee in the last three decades -- even lower than Robert Bork (whose support had climbed to a meager 38% right before his rejection). Kavanaugh is supported by only 37% of the population (see top chart).
The second chart shows the Demographic breakdown of Kavanaugh's support/nonsupport. Note that he doesn't get majority support from any groups.
