Katie Holmes didn’t wait long to undress for others after the recent and shocking news of her divorce from Strange Scientologist Tom Cruise.
Fresh off the divorce train, Katie Holmes is adding another role to her life’s resume: Face (and body) of luxury jewelry company H. Stern’s new jewelry line. In a series of photos of Katie Holmes dressed scantily in either a black underwear set or a white underwear set, she’s draped with the brands signature diamonds and gold jewelry.
The 33 year old actress even took one photo with her bra straps hanging low, near her elbows, only covering herself with a serpent-like stunning gold necklace.
These ads are currently being used for promotion only in Israel right now, with Katie’s fierce look being a bit too much for the American consumers unless proved otherwise in the Israeli marketplace. The company should be releasing the ads in America by the end of September.
Katie has done some topless acting in the past, specifically in her 2000 role in “The Gift,” and although Holmes has stared in fashion ads in the past as well, modeling for Ann Taylor, she has rarely ever publicly shown her provocative and sexual nature.
Holmes founded and owns her own fashion line, Holmes & Yang. Her love of fashion, jewelry and accessories is publically known, shared with the public through celeb gossip magazines and the like. Holmes has been seen engaging in pricey shopping trips all over New York and Boston with her daughter, Suri, and has been rumored to exchange red carpet fashion tips with Victoria Beckham.
Shot by famous celebrity photographer Tom Munro, Holmes follows in some large H. Stern footsteps, taking over the roles of Catherine Deneuve and Kate Moss before her.
The company said of it’s new collection: “The jewelry pieces are marked by patterns that reproduce the animal skin of serpents, fish, birds, turtles, and jaguars, using a contrast of black and white gemstones and various shades of gold.”
