Just pulled into the Katherine checkpoint. The team has averaged 65.22 km/h from Darwin to Katherine – a total distance of 315 km. We are doing incredibly well, currently in 10th place. And we’re going to do better. We found that half of our front array wasn’t connected – wire problem. So at the end of our half hour checkpoint stop, we fixed the wiring and the car is on it’s way. What would it be without another problem?
On another note – word on Michigan is that they rear-ended their own lead vehicle. That really sucks. Apparently they’ve gone back to the race track to fix their car. We’ll keep you updated.
