After a brief hiatus from playing in New York, Kasabian put on an energetic show at Terminal 5. The band mixed old tracks like “Club Foot” with their latest single “Bumblebeee”, and the packed crowd ate it up. Surprisingly, the band’s new album was under-represented on the setlist, but with the number of hits Kasabian has, no one seemed to mind. Most people I saw while making my way around the three story venue were dancing and jumping to what the British are known for doing best — playing anthems.

In contrast, Japanese four-piece Bo Ningen, who opened the night, crawled down the crowd’s spine with their screeching vocals and slithering musicianship. With hair down to their waist, there’s no reason for the band not to play furious and wild psychedelic tunes.
