After the two-month development cycle, the KaOS team announced a new stable KaOS 2020.11 release as the last release of the 2020 series.
This November update contains upgraded packages for the KDE Plasma desktop, which include KDE Frameworks 5.76.0, Plasma 5.20.3, and KDE Applications 20.08.3.
With a new Plasma 5.20.3 desktop, KaOS offers many new features such as grouping behavior for the task manager, notifications when the system is about to run out of space and the Highlight changed settings feature. .
Not only functionality, KaOS also has a new plasma drive to see the status of all hard drives or SDDs using a new option available in the kinfocenter app. In addition, you can now use a swap file instead of a swap partition in the Calamares installer.

The KaOS team is preparing to move most of the modules to QML and has already rewritten some as a keyboard and locale module. Continuing its transition to QML, the developers are now writing a new Users module in QML called usersq.
