Colombo Additional Magistrate Keminda Perera issued notices on the three sureties of the notorious drug kingpin and underworld ring leader Mohommad Najim Mohommad Imran alias Kanjipani Imran to appear before court. The Magistrate made this order when an attempted murder case filed against Kanjipani Imran was taken up before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
According to a bail condition, Kanjipani Imran must report to the Keselwatta police on the last Sunday of each month.However the suspect failed to report to the police as per bail conditions. Both the suspect and the sureties were not present in court. It has been revealed that Kanjipani Imran has fled the country. However, court had also barred Imran from traveling overseas.
