My first visit to the USS Midway museum brought me face to face with this Kaman product.  The Kaman SH-2 Seasprite is a ship-based helicopter originally developed and produced by Kaman Aircraft Corporation (Bloomfield, CT).  First flown in 1959, it served with the US Navy until retirement in 1993.  Originally intended for a utility role, the Seasprite found its niche in anti-submarine and anti-surface threat missions, along with search and rescue.  This example retains the markings of its last assignment, HSL-33.  Nikon D7000 w/18-200mm.
