Just The Beginning - Moto X Sign Up Page

Motorola, now a Google company, has provided its fans a chance to know what they're up to through a sign up page just now. The page doesn't say much about the product itself but it has certainly got us all excited.
"The first smartphone designed, engineered and assembled in the USA is coming."
Google has been reiterating "Assembled in USA." over and over again; is it trying to tell something to Apple? Which part are you more excited about? this? or "Designed by You."?
