“I can tell you I will definitely, seriously consider it,” he said. “I love that universe and I feel like there is more story to tell. I don’t know what it is now, but there are some loose ends.”

He continued,

“I would never want to do a sequel that just feels like for the sake of doing a sequel,” he explained. “I would have to have a story that I feel like would take it up a notch.”

Get Out is nominated in four categories at the 90th annual Academy Awards: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Original Screenplay. A fun fact, Get Out has inspired author Tananarive Due, who teaches in  U.C.L.A.’s African-American Studies Department, to create a course titled: “The Sunken Place: Racism, Survival, and Black Horror Aesthetic.”   According to reports, it is a very popular course.
