Jonah’s – Striking the Right Cords

Jonah’s is located on the 12th Main Road of Indiranagar right opposite Snap Fitness. Spread over 2 floors we decided to sit on the roof top. The ambiance was lively with cool breeze flowing. With bar on one side we sat on the wooden table next to it. The place is known for its interesting cocktails and droolicious food and we couldn’t wait to try them out.

We decided to go for Guilty Pleasure and Summer Julep from the cocktails menu. The Guilty Pleasure is made with Martini Rosso, chocolate liquor with a touch of nutmeg. We were skeptical about chocolate-based cocktail, but, were truly surprised. The Summer Julep on the other hand was refreshing with lime, cucumber and hint of ginger. We also tried the Rosy Ramos and the Watermelon Mojito. The Rosy Ramos is made with rose water and raspberry syrup with double cream. Again, very unique and amazing! The Watermelon Mojito was classical with large pieces of watermelon. Cant, go wrong with it!

 When it comes to food Jonah’s has many things to offer like the Fried Mozzarella Sticks and the Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms. The Fried Mozzarella Sticks were huge in size and was served with mayo. The Chesse Stuffed Mushrooms were also huge in size. The taste was great but too cheesy for us. Next we tried the Indo Italiana, this pasta is made with bellpeppers, onions, cottage cheese, mushrooms in curry cream cheese sauce. It was excellent in taste and the curry taste stood out. Lastly, we had the Juicy Veg Delight Pizza. This pizza is topped with Bellpeppers, Zucchini, mushrooms, olives in BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce was overpowering and would have been better if it was less.

We also had an appetite to try their Chocolate Truffle. This huge piece of cake had different chocolate layers and was gooey from inside.
