Jolly Jewellery: BIRTHDAY WISHLIST

By Jollygoodstudio @JollyGoodStudio
You may have guessed already but I love jewellery! I love looking at it, I love making it and I love wearing it. It can be surprising then that I don't buy myself that many pieces. It can also be quite rare that I receive any as gifts. Many of my nearest and dearest think that because I make jewelry I won't want to wear any other pieces. This is so not true! There are so many jewelry designers whose work I would love to wear. Since it's my birthday in a week I thought I'd do a Jolly Jewellery post all about the pieces I love (hint hint).
 1. Boxer Brooch by Red Brick. You may have seen from my Xmas gift post that I loved the Red Brick scarf Ross got me. The designer behind Red Brick, Karen Mabon, is a very talented lady and also creates awesome jewelry like this brooch.
2. Black Healing Hands Collar Pin from You Flaming Brute. Collar pins are all the rage at the moment and I am more than willing to get involved. I love these black hand ones, especially the the detail of the red nails. Might need a few more tops with collars though.
3. Electric Love Gold Necklace by Virginie Millefiori. I love this unusual necklace and the fact that it can be worn a number of different ways.
4. Cat Face Lapel Pin by Datter Industries. I have said it before and I will say it again, I love everything in the Datter Industries Etsy shop. Almost as much as I love cats, thus making this pin perfect.
5. Ghost World Brooch by Kate Rowland. I still have my VHS copy of Ghost World even though I no longer have a VHS player. I really should get it on DVD. This brooch would be a good reminder to do so.
6. Make a Wish Ring from Bettina Nissan Design. What an excellent birthday gift! Plus it's made using 3D printing, something which fascinates and blows my tiny mind.
7. Lobster Necklace by Tatty Devine (via Red Door Gallery). I love the giant version of this lobster necklace but the smaller one might be a bit more practical.
8. Gemstone Necklace from Sugar and Vice. It's bright, it's colourful and it's shiny. Like a magpie, I can't help but be attracted.
