The United States is still the largest jojoba oil-producing country. Next comes Mexico. Pure Jojoba oil is a light golden, dense, highly viscous, thick and odourless in nature. A wonderful fact about jojoba oil is that it has a very similar texture to our oily secretion of the sebaceous glands. Also, since jojoba oil is actually a wax formula, therefore it consists of longest lasting power than any other natural oils. This significant property of h Jojoba oil makes it a high preference for addition to any skincare product. Jojoba oil has some phenomenal medicinal uses. It relieves from headaches, throat inflammation, and in treating wounds. Jojoba oil is anti-inflammatory activity, antimicrobial, and antifungal/insecticidal in nature.
Besides the great significance of Jojoba oil, the leaves of Jojoba plant contain an important antioxidant flavonoid compound which is found beneficial in treating disorders such as asthma, inflammation, and cancer. Native Americans still use jojoba oil for curing colds, warts, sore throat, and wounds.
