Join the Lady Dork Bar Klatch!

Join the Lady Dork Bar Klatch for a drink at 7 p.m. this Friday, August 9 right in the middle of Art Crawl.
RSVP right here or via the Meetup website. (RSVPing will reveal the location, eh?)
What is the Lady Dork Bar Klatch?
It's a social club that meets about once a month, usually in Hamilton, Ontario, to get mildly drunk and make fun of ourselves and others.
  • It's not for work.
  • It's not for your family.
  • It's not a fundraiser.
  • It's not a networking event.
  • It's just for you. And your drinking habit.

Who is welcome?

If you can limply mutter "yes" to all these questions, you're in:
  1. Are you female, or female-ish?
  2. Do you ever feel like a total dork?
  3. Are you, like, just a nice, laid-back kind of person who just wants to sit around and eavesdrop on your fellow pub-goers and then make fun of them but, like, not in a really mean sort of way?
What's a klatch?

'Klatch' is fancy/dorky word for a get-together.

What is 'Meetup?'
It's, like, a website that organizes get-togethers. Here's the jazz from the website:
"Meetup is the world's largest network of local groups. Meetup makes it easy for anyone to organize a local group or find one of the thousands already meeting up face-to-face. More than 9,000 groups get together in local communities each day, each one with the goal of improving themselves or their communities."
I couldn't find an existing group for dorks who are ladies, so I created one. Then I invited you to join it. So come have a beer or whatever with your fellow lady dorks before checking out Art Crawl. It will be easy. And you know what makes it easy? Drinks.
And! You could even meet your new best friend:

Can't wait to meet you in real life this Friday!
