By Melody Schubert @USATM

On June 7th, the Upland Brewing Co. in Bloomington, Indiana is hosting a Rally with the American Homebrewers Association that will include a VIP tour of the brewery, great prizes, complimentary food and beer samples. The highlight of the event will be the Annual UpCup Homebrew Competition. This is a chance to sample the winner’s recipe, which will be brewed by Upland brewers and featured on tap at all Upland locations.
Upland Breweries have a old charm, where you're welcomed like friends and family. Sit awhile, chat with your friends and
family while enjoying great brews, and declious food. They also have exceptional Bands, and host a number of events like the upcoming The Red Eye Relay, which is an all-night 50 or 100-mile relay, starting and ending at the Brew Pub, 350 W. 11th St., Bloomington benefiting the Enis Furley Foundation, and takes place on July 19. And, in August you can join the Tour de Upland on the 15th and 17th for 30 hours of cycling, beer, camping, and music in Nashville, IN.
Of course, the Annual UpCup Homebrew Competition is a favorite for homebrewers, who get to show off their brewing talent. The BJCP judges, professional brewers and other industry professionals will judge the contest, and the winner receives  the UpCup trophy, and their homebrew recipe brewed by Upland brewers, and featured on tap at all Upland locations! The winning beer will also be entered into the Great American Beer Festival® Pro-Am Competition.
