Joanna Gaines heeding to the voice of God changed her life
I have been intrigued by Joanna Gaines design style but more importantly her stance on faith and family since her and husband Chip Gaines Fixer Upper debut series on the HGTV channel.
She has claimed on several shows that her favorite home ever is the first house she and Chip renovated when they first got married:
True happiness doesn't come form having more stuff, it comes from being happy with the things you have.
In 2018 the couple ended the show after 78 episodes and five seasons because of birthing new dreams and wanting to spend more time with their children.
Out of this decision....Magnolia TV was born and now fans like me can watch the Gaines fix up homes and prepare amazing dishes for the entire family.
My mother, along with my daughter and sister plan to take a trip to Waco, TX to visit the renowned Magnolia Market and all it has to offer (I'll definitely let you guys know about that when it happens..hopefully this Mother's Day since we've all been vaccinated).
Anyway in the meantime I wanted to share a quote from Jo to inspire us all to stay grounded in our faith and to trust the voice of God.
It is no easy thing to trust in God, to walk away from a career, to give it all up not knowing if you can ever get it back or even come close. But I did it. I heeded his voice, and somehow I found peace about it.
