JIRM ★ The Tunnel, The Well, The Bedlam

The album cover design gives a good idea of what the listener can expect.a journey into the dark, cold solitude of space....okay... that may sound a bit too depressing, but 'The Tunnel, The Well, Holy Bedlam' is definitely different than the albums before.

Whether it's because the album was created in 5 different studios, during the pandemic or the 4-year break from the last album 'Surge Ex Monumentis', Jeremy Irons & The Ratgang Malibus - or JIRM since 2018 - has never sounded as varied and yet as catchy.

A hypnotic-psychedelic Pink Floyd and early Hawkwind vibe flows throughout the album and is best showcased on the 13-minute epic masterpiece 'Deeper Dwell' which is the longest song on the 52 minute album.

The spectrum ranges from progressive psych, spaced-out heavy rock to slow doom'n gloom launchy jazz-like parts with genre untypical saxophone.

A mind-blowing journey, massive, full of reverb and perfectly thought out from the first to the last minute.
