Jeremy Jordan From “Supergirl” Claims He Almost Died Because Of Chipolte
No, not THAT Jeremy Jordan. If only (because that would mean he could afford Chipotle)! According to People, another Jeremy Jordan (he plays Supergirl’s co-worker) posted his first ever Instagram story on Thursday, and it was all about how he was in the hospital because of Chipotle. People still risk eating at Chipotle? The norovirus burrito bowl isn’t THAT good.
Jordan shot his story while looking “fairly pale laying in a hospital bed and showing viewers the IV in his arm.” He must have had the burrito bowl and a taco.
“I know I’ve advocated for them in the past, but they’re terrible. I, as you can see, am in the hospital and I have fluids in my arm because the food did not agree with me and I almost died.”
Chipotle has been in the news a little too frequently in recent years, mostly because of adding E.Coli to their menu at several of their locations across the country. This is in addition to the aforementioned norovirus, as well as providing live entertainment in the form of mice falling from the ceiling during the lunch rush at a Dallas location. (Seriously, people still eat at Chipotle?)
Chipotle’s propaganda minister (who must have gotten Employee Of The yYear several years in a row by now) released a statement about Jordan’s hospitalization.
“We are sorry to hear that Jeremy is sick and have attempted to get in touch with him directly regarding where and when he ate so we can look into this. We take all claims seriously, but at this time we can’t confirm any link to Chipotle. We are always committed to making things right for our guests and will do the same for Jeremy when we are able to reach him.”
Chipotle was dead to me even before the various outbreaks and rodent showers because they changed their tortilla chip recipe. Anyway, I’m not comedically skilled enough to craft a Supergirl v. Chipotle crack. But it sounds like you’d have to BE from Krypton to survive a Chipotle experience at this point. Actually, that was one. Is that a gong I hear?
