The woman who lived with Jeffrey Epstein for several years was arrested at around 8 a.m. 30, according to FBI spokesperson Marty Feely.
Jeffrey Epstein killed himself in a federal detention center in New York last summer while awaiting trial for sex trafficking.
Several women accused Ghislaine Maxwell of recruiting them to give massages to Jeffrey Epstein, massages during which they would have been pressured to have sex with him. These allegations have never before resulted in criminal charges. The exact nature of the charges against the Briton has yet to be revealed.
Ghislaine Maxwell has repeatedly denied having committed reprehensible acts.
