Last year I had shared a few of my work from home looks features jeans and I was looking through that post and realized, I don't own a few of those jeans anymore. Pandemic really pushed me into minimizing mode. While I had not been a big shopper for several years, now I am in the mode of selling and donating pieces that I don't absolutely love.

You might (or might not) be surprised to learn that I one point in my mid-20s I had near about 50 pairs of jeans. Slowly that number came down to about 20-something in the last decade but this year I have decided on a hard-cap of no more than 10 pair of jeans. That too, only because I already own them and love them and they still fit me just fine without pinching, and riding up or down while I am living my life.

Since nothing keeps me more accountable than this blog, so just like the sweater series (which by the way have gone down to grand total of 14) I am sharing all the jeans I own, in a two-part series.

I pledge to not buy a pair unless one of these don't fit me, get ripped or I lose love for and donate. No at no point in my life I would have more than 10 pair. Fingers-crossed!

ONE: This one is from Lucky Brand Jeans, which I bought on one of my trips to Chicago. Just one of those instances when you find a pair on sale (under $30) and it is a color you don't own and is ripped at the right places and to top it all it fits just right too.

TWO: The second pair is from Chico's. Also worn here. This was a rare instance when I ordered a pair online, never having tried it on and it fit like a glove. Now of course, I can never ever gain an inch below my waist else it wouldn't fit but while it does I am making the most of it.

THREE & FOUR: Both of these pairs are from GAP. An impulse purchase no less, because they were on SALE fro under $10 bucks and they fit SO WELL that I couldn't resist. However, I can't engage in this behavior moving forward though. So stay within the 10 Jeans cap, I'd have to let go of one of these skinny jeans and I am not yet ready to part with any of them.
