Japanese Women Selling Their Bodies…For Thigh Advertising??

HuffPo just reported on a kooky Japanese trend (I know, isn’t every Japanese trend kooky?) where girls are giving up their thighs for advertising space.

Advertising firm Absolute Territory, English translation of “zettai ryouiki” which also  happens to be a term that refers to the skin between the hem of a skirt and the top of the over-the-knee socks, is responsible for this.  Zettai Ryouiki is also known as Japan’s biggest fetish.

In order for a girl to use her thighs to advertise, she must be 18 years old and have at least 20 people on their social network sites.  20 people?  Lord, my grandmother has 20 people in her social network and she doesn’t even know how to use a computer.  Needless to say, over 1,300 girls have signed up for this.

Well, if they need banner sized advertising space, I have a set of bulbous creamy thighs right here.  I just don’t think advertising on them would do any good.
