Japan Soul – “Transparent”

Japan Soul is a trio out of Brooklyn, NY whose music can be best described as an old-school synthesis of art-pop and funky dance music.  Their most recent song Transparent is reminiscent of when the songs bumping at the club were made by groups playing real instruments alongside the minimalistic early rhythm machines that were available in the 1980′s.  The group has an album “Plastic Utopia” in the works which we can only expect to be a wildly eclectic affair.  Listen to Transparent below and keep up with Japan Soul here.
