Japan Soul – ‘Hey Yah Hey’ Video

Earlier in the year we featured Japan Soul’s ‘Plastic Utopia’ single, which for whatever reason struck me as:

“…the soundtrack to the morning tai chi routine of a kimono-clad TV star in 1984″

Well, their brand new video ‘Hey Yah Hey’ bring us back from the beach dojo of the silky 80s and into the streets of Paris of our slightly scary 21st century. Popping, locking, spying drones, the vision of this band is contagious.

Understated sax, sprightly bass guitar and punchy, sophisticated percussion… these three slick Brooklyn boys better hurry up with their debut album.
